Hello, and welcome to ‘A Look at Nature’.
My name is Kay Muddiman, also known as ‘Mummaroo’! I live in the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales and am passionate about the natural environment.
This is my personal contribution towards ‘spreading the word’ and encouraging the appreciation of the marvels of nature – in particular Australia’s unique wildlife. My experience as a wildlife carer has given me the opportunity of observing many of our incredible native animals ‘close-up and personal’. This ‘sharing of their world’ (ranging from a few hours to a few months) has not only been a great privilege, but has reinforced that they should be valued far more highly than they are at present, and given the respect that they deserve. I hope that this site will in some small way contribute to this end.
I love to take photos, mainly of wildlife and nature. I especially love macro photography, and never cease to be amazed at the incredible beauty of that which is not visible to our naked eye. This site is therefore a ‘photo gallery’ of my pics, with (if possible) a little bit of information thrown in. Occasionally I will also include photos and items from like-minded people. I take every care to make any information supplied accurate (with sources acknowledged), but cannot guarantee it.
All my images (along with those from other contributors) are subject to copyright, and I ask that you please respect this.
I hope you enjoy your visit – do come again!
